Super Midsize Jets

Super midsize jets combine a stand-up cabin in many models with the range needed for longer regional and some intercontinental journeys. They typically suit groups of eight to ten passengers who want room to work, eat and relax without moving to an airliner-sized aircraft.

Flat floors, larger baggage holds and more substantial galleys are common reasons to choose this class. A transatlantic flight is possible on some routes and models, but cannot be assumed from the category alone. Winds, passenger load and the airports used remain part of the route calculation.
