Why consider this model?
How much space?

People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the aircraft in your quote.
Room for your luggage
5.52 m³ of baggage space.
* Approximate planning range, not a baggage allowance. Suitcase size, compartment access, weight and flight load affect what fits. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.
Aircraft specifications
Legacy brochure cabin length includes service areas and the rear pressurised compartment. Finished dimensions vary with the interior; compare the floorplans as well as the numbers.
The model and its relatives
Global Express
Launched in the 1990s, the Global Express first reached customers in 1999. Bombardier developed a new wing and paired it with Rolls-Royce BR710 engines for long flights at business-jet speeds.
Global Express XRS
The Global Express XRS offers a long, divided cabin and greater range than the original Express. It provides room for a dining area and a separate rear lounge on long journeys.
Global 6000
The Global 6000 offers a long cabin with distinct living areas and an aft baggage compartment. Its layout gives a group room to work and rest on an intercontinental flight.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
The Global Express was Bombardier’s move beyond the Challenger into very long-distance business travel. The project required an aircraft designed around long flights, not merely more fuel in an existing small jet. Its broad, multi-zone cabin became the starting point for a family of shorter and longer-range developments.

The XRS followed with more fuel and cabin improvements. Later developments became the Global 6000 and 6500. Original Global Express aircraft often have refurbished cabins, so their appearance is not defined by age alone.
Before you choose
Can I stand upright in the cabin?
A person 180 cm tall can stand at the highest part of the cabin. Space narrows towards the sides. Maximum cabin height: 1.91 m.
