Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
Cessna announced the Citation Mustang in 2002 as a small entry-level jet. It first flew in 2005, and the first customer delivery followed in 2006.
The cabin centres on four facing passenger seats. The modest size makes its purpose clear: short trips for a few people, rather than a full-height cabin for longer journeys.
Production ended in 2017 as the Citation M2 continued Cessna’s entry-level jet offering. The M2 is a different model, not a Mustang with a new interior.

Can I stand upright in the cabin?
The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.37 m.
Will my aircraft have this exact interior?

When should I consider this model?
Mustang is suitable for a few passengers on short sectors with normal bags. Cabin height is limited, and the toilet arrangement is more basic than a fully separate rear lavatory. Check this if comfort or privacy is a priority.
