The model and its relatives

King Air 200

The 200 entered service in 1974 with a larger cabin and a T-tail. Its twin turboprops made it useful for corporate travel as well as other passenger and utility work.

King Air 200GT

The King Air B200GT keeps the practical 200-series cabin and adds stronger high-altitude performance. It suits regional travel with a small group and bulky luggage.

King Air 350

The King Air 350 has a longer cabin than the 200, usually with two groups of facing seats. It is a useful option when eight passengers need to travel together on a regional route.

Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved

The first King Airs established a pressurised twin-turboprop formula. The 200 enlarged that concept and moved the horizontal tail to the top of the fin, giving it a different profile from the smaller 90 series. It became the foundation of a long-running branch that eventually included the 250 and 260.

The 200 entered service in 1974 with a larger cabin and a T-tail. Its twin turboprops made it useful for corporate travel as well as other passenger and utility work.

The B200 followed in 1981 with revised engines. Many aircraft were subsequently upgraded, so an older 200 with modifications can differ substantially from its original specification. This page uses the original 200 as its reference.

Before you choose

Can I stand upright in the cabin?

The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.45 m.

Will my aircraft have this exact interior?

Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
