Why consider this model?
How much space?
Cabin dimensions will be confirmed for the helicopter offered. See the interior photographs for its seating arrangement.
People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the helicopter in your quote.
Room for your luggage
0.51 m³ of baggage space.
* Indicative estimate based on published baggage volume, for medium suitcases around 65 × 45 × 25 cm. Compartment shape, door openings, baggage weight and flight load can reduce the number. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.
Helicopter specifications
Manufacturer range without fuel reserves. The flight must be planned with the applicable reserve and actual loading.
The model and its relatives
R66
Robinson introduced the R66 in 2010, moving from the piston-powered R44 to a Rolls-Royce turbine. A wider cabin and separate rear baggage compartment made it a more useful passenger aircraft.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
Robinson had built its earlier passenger range around piston engines. The R66 changed that approach by introducing a turbine while keeping a comparatively simple, compact helicopter. The extra seat and separate baggage compartment expanded its role beyond the smaller R44’s format.

The basic arrangement has two seats in front and three behind. One front seat is for the pilot; the remaining four are passenger positions. Actual luggage capacity is constrained by weight as well as compartment size.

Can I stand upright in the cabin?
This is a seated cabin. Exact interior height must be checked for the helicopter offered. Maximum cabin height: To be confirmed.
Will my helicopter have this exact interior?
Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
