Why consider this model?
How much space?

People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the helicopter in your quote.
Room for your luggage
0.95 m³ of baggage space.
* Indicative estimate based on published baggage volume, for medium suitcases around 65 × 45 × 25 cm. Compartment shape, door openings, baggage weight and flight load can reduce the number. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.
Helicopter specifications
Helicopter range is a planning reference and may be quoted without fuel reserves. Passenger weight, baggage, landing-site conditions and required reserves determine the usable route.
The model and its relatives
Agusta A109
Agusta began deliveries in 1976. The family later developed through Power and Grand versions with different engines and cabin details; the figures here represent an early A109A Mk II configuration.
Agusta AW109 Power
The AW109 Power combines twin engines with a compact executive cabin. It is useful for quick transfers where a larger helicopter is unnecessary.
Agusta A109S Grand
The A109S Grand adds passenger space to the compact A109 concept. Its longer cabin is useful for executive transfers with five or six passengers.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
The A109 first flew in 1971 and marked an important change for Agusta: it was an Italian-designed twin-engine helicopter rather than a licensed foreign design. Its streamlined body, four-blade rotor and retractable wheels gave it a recognisable identity. The same basic idea supported passenger transport, medical work and later executive versions with more refined interiors.

Before you choose
Can I stand upright in the cabin?
The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.28 m.
Will my helicopter have this exact interior?
Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
