The model and its relatives

Citation V

Cessna stretched the earlier Citation cabin and fitted more powerful engines to create the V. Deliveries began in 1989, followed by the Ultra in the next stage of development.

Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved

The V belongs to Cessna’s straight-wing small jets, not the swept-wing Model 650 family of the III, VI and VII. It was developed from the Citation II to provide more cabin length. That decision started the line later continued by the Ultra, Encore and Encore+.

Cessna stretched the earlier Citation cabin and fitted more powerful engines to create the V. Deliveries began in 1989, followed by the Ultra in the next stage of development.

The straight wing supports access to a broad choice of airports, although every runway still needs a performance check for the day’s conditions and load.

Before you choose

Can I stand upright in the cabin?

The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.45 m.

Will my aircraft have this exact interior?

Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
