Citation M2
The Citation M2 is suited to short business and leisure trips for four main-cabin passengers. Its club seating, rear toilet and separate baggage compartments keep the small interior practical. It is a seated-height cabin.

Why consider this model?
How much space?

People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the aircraft in your quote.
Room for your luggage
1.30 m³ of baggage space.
* Indicative estimate based on published baggage volume, for medium suitcases around 65 × 45 × 25 cm. Compartment shape, door openings, baggage weight and flight load can reduce the number. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.

The model and its relatives
Citation M2
The M2 began deliveries in 2013 as a development of the CJ1+. Gen2 later added cabin improvements; this page refers to the original M2.
Citation CJ1+
The CJ1+ adds newer engine control and more speed to the compact CJ1 cabin. Four main seats remain the useful reference for a comfortable group.
Citation CJ2+
The CJ2+ combines a six-seat cabin with more range than the earlier CJ2. It is useful when a compact jet needs to cover a longer regional route.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
Cessna used the short CitationJet platform to create a new entry point into its jet range. The M2 combined that familiar airframe with revised Williams engines, a new cockpit and a refreshed interior. Despite filling a small-jet role alongside the Mustang, it comes from the CJ family and has a different airframe and cabin.

Before you choose
Can I stand upright in the cabin?
The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.45 m.
Will my aircraft have this exact interior?
Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
When should I consider this model?
The M2 is a compact jet for four main-cabin passengers. It combines the short CJ-family cabin with more recent engines and a modern flight deck.
