Why consider this model?
How much space?

People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the aircraft in your quote.
Room for your luggage
5.52 m³ of baggage space.
* Approximate planning range, not a baggage allowance. Suitcase size, compartment access, weight and flight load affect what fits. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.
Aircraft specifications
Cabin dimensions describe the finished interior, excluding baggage. Maximum range uses a light passenger load; wind, reserves and payload affect the actual route.
The model and its relatives
Global 5500
The 5500 entered service in 2019 as a development of the Global 5000. Rolls-Royce Pearl engines and changes to the wing improved its performance while the passenger cabin kept familiar proportions.
Global 5000
The Global 5000 puts several seating areas and a full galley into a shorter Global fuselage. It offers the space of a large business jet without the cabin length of the 6000.
Global 6500
A long-range Global with a three-zone cabin and updated seating. The 6500 extends the reach of the 6000 while keeping a familiar, usable cabin layout.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
The 5500 renewed the shorter Global platform after the 5000. Rather than stretching the fuselage, Bombardier used a newer engine generation and aerodynamic improvements. The passenger space remained familiar, while revised seating and cabin systems brought it closer to the newer members of the Global range.

Bombardier also introduced Nuage seating and updated cabin controls. Individual charter aircraft can differ in the number of seats and the arrangement of the rear lounge.
Before you choose
Can I stand upright in the cabin?
A person 180 cm tall can stand at the highest part of the cabin. Space narrows towards the sides. Maximum cabin height: 1.88 m.
Will my aircraft have this exact interior?
Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
