G500
Gulfstream announced this G500 in 2014 and began deliveries in 2018. The new airframe, Pratt & Whitney engines and Symmetry flight deck distinguish it from the earlier aircraft of the same name.
G600
The G600 adds cabin length and range to the modern G500 platform. Three or four living areas allow a group to separate dining, work and rest on long flights.
G700
The G700 provides up to five living areas in a long, wide cabin. It can keep a bedroom separate from meeting and dining spaces, which is useful on extended overnight flights.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
Gulfstream used the G500 name twice. The modern model discussed here began a new family, rather than continuing the earlier GV-derived aircraft of the same name. A wider cabin and new engines were central to the redesign, and the longer G600 developed alongside it.

The G600 shares the family’s cabin width but adds length and range. These specifications do not describe the early-2000s G500 derived from the GV.

A person 180 cm tall can stand at the highest part of the cabin. Space narrows towards the sides. Maximum cabin height: 1.88 m.
