The model and its relatives

55

First delivered in 1981, the 55 introduced a larger Learjet cabin cross-section. Later B and C versions refined equipment and performance before the stretched Learjet 60 took over.

31A

The Learjet 31A puts strong cruise performance into a small cabin. It works best for short trips with a small group and carefully planned luggage.

35

The Learjet 35 family combines a compact cabin with substantial range for its size. The low ceiling and limited baggage space are important when planning a longer flight.

Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved

Learjet’s earlier aircraft were known for speed but had narrow, low cabins. The 55 addressed that limitation with a larger fuselage cross-section, while keeping the winglet-equipped Learjet appearance. It opened a roomier branch of the range. The later Learjet 60 stretched this concept, so the 55 is an important link between the compact early jets and the larger 60 family.

Before you choose

Can I stand upright in the cabin?

The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.73 m.

Will my aircraft have this exact interior?

Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
