The model and its relatives

40

Deliveries began in 2004. The Model 40 shortened the Learjet 45 to create a lighter six-seat alternative; the later 40XR changed performance rather than cabin size.

31A

The Learjet 31A puts strong cruise performance into a small cabin. It works best for short trips with a small group and carefully planned luggage.

35

The Learjet 35 family combines a compact cabin with substantial range for its size. The low ceiling and limited baggage space are important when planning a longer flight.

Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved

The Learjet 45 introduced a new cabin design beyond the classic narrow Learjet fuselage. Bombardier then shortened that platform to create the 40, rather than developing another aircraft from the older 35. This kept the newer cabin cross-section for a smaller passenger group. Later XR changes concentrated on performance, so the shorter cabin remained the defining difference from the 45.

Before you choose

Can I stand upright in the cabin?

The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.50 m.

Will my aircraft have this exact interior?

Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
