The D version replaced the low cabin of earlier Beech 1900 aircraft with a taller fuselage. More powerful engines and aerodynamic changes accompanied the additional space.

Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved

Beechcraft’s 1900 programme expanded its turboprop experience into a 19-seat regional airliner. Earlier versions had a low cabin. The D made standing room a central improvement, substantially changing the fuselage above the seats. That is why it differs visibly from older 1900s despite sharing their regional-transport purpose.

The D version replaced the low cabin of earlier Beech 1900 aircraft with a taller fuselage. More powerful engines and aerodynamic changes accompanied the additional space.

Most interiors use commuter seating, with a single seat on each side. This makes the aircraft useful for groups, while the cabin remains much narrower than a business jet lounge.

Before you choose

Can I stand upright in the cabin?

A person 180 cm tall can stand at the highest part of the cabin. Space narrows towards the sides. Maximum cabin height: 1.80 m.

Will my aircraft have this exact interior?

Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
