Why consider this model?
How much space?

People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the aircraft in your quote.
Room for your luggage
3.20 m³ of baggage space.
* Approximate planning range, not a baggage allowance. Suitcase size, compartment access, weight and flight load affect what fits. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.
Aircraft specifications
Upper range figure for the 601 family. Earlier 601-1A aircraft have less range; confirm the variant, fuel configuration and payload.
The model and its relatives
Challenger 601
The Challenger 601 followed the 600 in 1983 with General Electric engines and winglets. Canadair developed it before becoming part of Bombardier in 1986.
Challenger 604
The Challenger 604 pairs a broad stand-up cabin with intercontinental capability. It suits travellers who value usable cabin width and a baggage compartment accessible in flight.
Challenger 605
A wide-cabin Challenger with larger windows and a refreshed passenger environment. The 605 is a practical choice when cabin space matters as much as flight distance.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
The 600 had established the wide Challenger cabin, but the next development concentrated on the aircraft around it. The 601’s engine and wing changes helped turn that original concept into a more capable travelling aircraft. It began a pattern followed throughout the family: preserve the generous cabin while improving range and equipment.

The series evolved through the 601-1A, 601-3A and 601-3R. Later versions improved range and equipment. The model designation should therefore be checked alongside the cabin photographs.
Before you choose
Can I stand upright in the cabin?
A person 180 cm tall can stand at the highest part of the cabin. Space narrows towards the sides. Maximum cabin height: 1.85 m.
Will my aircraft have this exact interior?
Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
