Praetor 500
The Praetor 500 combines a flat-floor cabin with range beyond many midsize jets. Its seven-seat standard layout leaves room to move without needing a much larger aircraft.

Why consider this model?
How much space?

People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the aircraft in your quote.
Room for your luggage
4.25 m³ of baggage space.
* Indicative estimate based on published baggage volume, for medium suitcases around 65 × 45 × 25 cm. Compartment shape, door openings, baggage weight and flight load can reduce the number. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.
Aircraft specifications
Maximum range with four passengers, two pilots and NBAA IFR reserves. The cruise figure is the manufacturer’s high-speed cruise, not the speed used for maximum range.
The model and its relatives
Praetor 500
The Praetor 500 followed the Legacy 450 in 2019. Revised winglets and fuel capacity extended its range while retaining the cabin dimensions.
Legacy 450
A flat floor and standing headroom make the Legacy 450 feel more spacious than many smaller jets. It suits a group of seven or eight travelling medium distances.
Legacy 500
The Legacy 500 adds cabin length to the flat-floor Legacy design. Two seating groups and a proper galley make it useful for longer journeys with eight or nine passengers.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
The Legacy 450 had already established a relatively short, wide midsize cabin with a flat floor. The Praetor 500 developed that platform towards longer routes. It kept the passenger-space concept while changing fuel and aerodynamic details, so its historical significance lies mainly in extending the reach of the 450 family.

The 500E is a later cabin evolution. This page describes the original Praetor 500, whose actual seating and communication equipment depend on the individual aircraft.
Before you choose
Can I stand upright in the cabin?
A person 180 cm tall can stand at the highest part of the cabin. Space narrows towards the sides. Maximum cabin height: 1.83 m.
Will my aircraft have this exact interior?
Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
