Long Range Jets

Aircraft designed for long journeys. Nonstop capability depends on the route, payload and conditions.

Aircraft categories are a guide, not fixed boundaries. The same model may be grouped differently by different companies. Choose for your route, passengers and luggage, then compare the actual cabin and performance.

CHOOSING YOUR CATEGORY

When to choose Long Range Jets

Long range jets are designed to connect distant cities with fewer fuel stops. They suit intercontinental business travel, overnight journeys and groups that need space for work and rest during a long flight. Large cabins can contain several separate living areas, with seating and sleeping arrangements depending on the model.

Their main advantage is combining long reach with a cabin intended for many hours on board. The longest advertised range usually assumes a specific cruise speed and passenger load. Carrying more people or flying into strong headwinds can require a stop even on an aircraft in this class.

Range and route planning

Models in this catalogue have published maximum ranges of approximately 11,000-14,400 km. These are model reference figures, not a promise to fly any route within that distance nonstop. Passenger load, fuel reserves, wind and airport conditions affect the usable range.
