Questions about your flight
How much does a private jet charter cost?
The price is calculated for your route and dates. It depends on the aircraft model and location, flight duration, airport fees and schedule. Two similar aircraft can have different prices, for example if one needs an additional positioning flight to your departure airport.
Get a quote for your route →What is included in my charter quote?
Our quotes include the flight, airport fees, ground handling and applicable VAT. Aircraft de-icing, special catering and certain VIP lounges may carry additional charges. These are listed separately; the cost of de-icing depends on whether it is required and the work involved.
What happens after I request a quote?
Lustrina Jet checks aircraft availability across the market, compares operator offers and sends you a shortlist. We assess what each price delivers: the aircraft model, cabin condition, comfort and flight terms. If a more suitable aircraft is available at a comparable price, we leave the less attractive options out of your selection.
Am I committed to booking when I request a quote?
No, requesting a quote does not commit you to booking a flight. You can review the options and decline if they do not suit you. If you decide to proceed, we agree the price, booking conditions and payment arrangements with you.
Does Lustrina Jet operate its own aircraft?
No. Lustrina Jet is an independent charter broker. We source flights from third-party aircraft operators and are not tied to a single fleet. This allows us to compare suitable aircraft, pricing and key terms for each trip.
Who operates my flight and who do I pay?
Your flight is performed by a licensed aircraft operator. Once you select an option, the charter agreement is concluded directly with the operating carrier, and payment for the flight is made directly to them. This means your contract and payment are directly with the company operating your flight.
Lustrina Jet remains actively involved throughout the entire journey, coordinating with the operator, monitoring the flight and staying with you from booking through to landing.
How do you choose the aircraft and operator?
We select aircraft based on flight distance, passenger numbers, baggage and cabin requirements, then compare available operator offers. We consider aircraft condition and our experience with the operator. Airport restrictions also matter: a short runway, for example, may rule out some models. The feasibility of each flight is confirmed with the operator.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier you know your plans, the more time there is to find suitable options. Booking ahead is particularly helpful around holidays, peak travel periods and major events. You can also request a short-notice departure, but feasibility depends on aircraft, crew and the necessary approvals.
Can I choose a specific aircraft or airport?
Yes, tell us your preferred aircraft model and airport in your request or when discussing your trip. Availability is checked for your dates. If your preference is unsuitable because of range, capacity or airport restrictions, alternatives can be considered.
Can my pet travel in the cabin?
Yes, your pet travels with you in the cabin, but carriage must be agreed with the operator in advance. Tell us the type, number and weight of your pets. Pet fees are usually already included in our quotes; what they cover, including cabin cleaning, depends on the operator's terms. This fee does not mean cabin damage is prepaid: repairs can be costly, and the owner's responsibility is set out in the contract.
Can I bring skis, golf clubs or oversized luggage?
Yes, provided the chosen aircraft has the space and payload capacity for your baggage. The dimensions of individual items and the baggage compartment opening matter as well as weight and volume. Tell us what you plan to bring so we can account for it when selecting the aircraft.
What is an empty leg flight?
An empty leg is a flight an aircraft needs to make without passengers, for example to reach its next charter or return to base. It can sometimes be booked for less than a standard charter, but the route and timing are set or allow only limited changes. The flight depends on the main booking and may be rescheduled or cancelled, so check the terms before booking.
Can I change or cancel my flight?
Changes and cancellations depend on the terms of your booking. A different departure time, route or aircraft may change the price and require further agreement. Check the cancellation and refund terms before confirming your flight.
