YOUR VISIT AT A GLANCE
Berlin is Germany’s capital, with government, business, research and a broad cultural scene. The city spreads across several districts, so a meeting in Mitte, an exhibition visit and a stay in the west need different transfers. Berlin Brandenburg is the airport to assess for current private jet arrivals.
BEYOND THE ARRIVAL
A city to explore by neighbourhood
Berlin does not have one centre that explains the whole city. Mitte gathers many familiar historic sights, while Charlottenburg, Kreuzberg and other neighbourhoods bring different streets, architecture and daily life. A visit becomes easier to understand when it follows one theme or a small number of connected areas.
History, art and contemporary culture can each justify a separate trip. For a first stay, leave time to read and understand the memorials and museum collections rather than simply moving between them. For a business visit, the actual district matters just as much as the city name because appointments can be spread across a large urban area.

Museum Island
Several major museums share this historic island in the Spree. Select the collection you want to visit instead of treating the entire island as one short stop.

Brandenburg Gate
The gate is a starting point for the government quarter and the edge of Tiergarten. The surrounding area helps connect Berlin’s landmarks into a walk.

Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt
Berlin Brandenburg is southeast of Berlin. Its General Aviation Terminal is in the Service Area North, reached separately from ordinary airline departures. Central Berlin, Potsdam and the exhibition grounds are distinct road destinations.
Indicative road journeys. The terminal, final address and traffic affect the time. Dotted ends link the road to the marked place; this overview is not a navigation map.
Your onward journey
Berlin Brandenburg Airport lies outside the central districts. Give the precise address for Mitte, City West or another area rather than using a single “Berlin centre” estimate. For several appointments, group nearby stops before setting the return flight time.
Plan around your final address
Berlin covers a large area. A single transfer estimate cannot represent every district; plan around the address and time of day.

When to travel
Berlin receives business and cultural visitors all year. Major fairs and festivals affect demand, while summer favours outdoor walks and winter suits a museum-led programme.
Spring & summer
Neighbourhood walks, parks and time by the Spree can balance museum visits. Choose a manageable area for each half-day instead of repeatedly crossing the city.
Autumn
Exhibitions and cultural events can provide the focus. Check which building hosts the actual collection or performance, rather than relying only on the institution’s name.
Winter
Museums and performances suit a stay with fewer outdoor hours. Short daylight makes a compact geographical plan particularly useful, with outdoor stops placed between nearby indoor visits.

AIRCRAFT TO CONSIDER
Choose the space you need
Compare passenger seats, luggage and cabin space. The operator confirms the aircraft’s suitability for the airports and the particular flight.
Before your visit
Can I cover Berlin’s main districts in a single day?⌄
You can make a broad tour, but it leaves limited time at each stop. For a useful first visit, choose one or two areas and one substantial museum or historical visit rather than trying to cover the whole city.
Which airport should I choose?⌄
Berlin Brandenburg is southeast of Berlin. Its General Aviation Terminal is in the Service Area North, reached separately from ordinary airline departures. Central Berlin, Potsdam and the exhibition grounds are distinct road destinations.
How long is the airport transfer?⌄
The indicative road journey from the airport shown on this map to the city centre is 35-60 minutes. The exact terminal, address and traffic affect the journey. Select a point on the map to compare the available local destinations.
What should I send with a charter request?⌄
Send your dates, departure point, passenger count and final address. Mention large bags or sports equipment and any fixed appointment. We can then compare the flight and onward journey together.
