YOUR VISIT AT A GLANCE
Courchevel is a collection of mountain villages within the Three Valleys ski area. Your exact village and chalet address determine the final transfer. Its altiport is a specialist mountain airfield, not a normal arrival airport for the business jets used on most international charters.
BEYOND THE ARRIVAL
One destination, several Alpine villages
Courchevel is a collection of mountain villages rather than a single compact town. Le Praz, Village, Moriond, La Tania and Courchevel 1850 have different settings and approaches. The village name is therefore part of the travel plan, not a minor detail to settle after landing.
Winter brings the ski area to the foreground, while summer opens a different programme of walking, mountain scenery and outdoor time. The useful itinerary depends on the group: experienced skiers, families and visitors who do not ski will not spend the day in the same way. Keep village transfers, equipment and the last journey back to the airport visible in the schedule.

Courchevel villages
Courchevel is a collection of villages at different elevations, not a single arrival address. Your village and accommodation determine the final climb from the valley.

Vanoise
The mountain landscape changes from winter slopes to summer walking terrain. Choose an outing that suits the season, conditions and the experience of your group.

Courchevel Altiport
Courchevel’s high-altitude altiport lies beside the resort. Its short, steeply sloping runway is a specialist facility for suitable light aircraft, alongside helicopter access. It is not a conventional destination for a business jet.
Indicative road journeys. The terminal, final address and traffic affect the time. Dotted ends link the road to the marked place; this overview is not a navigation map.
Your onward journey
The altiport is not a substitute for a regular jet airport. For a jet journey, this guide uses Geneva as a gateway, followed by a separately planned transfer. Snow, the mountain road and helicopter conditions can affect the onward leg. The local altiport map below should not be read as the Geneva-to-resort journey.
Plan around your final address
For a private jet journey, compare a gateway such as Geneva or Chambéry and an onward road or helicopter transfer. Mountain weather may change the final leg.
Airport details and arrival guidance →TIMING YOUR TRIP
When to travel
Winter arrival plans need a road alternative when a helicopter cannot operate. Summer lift and activity schedules differ from winter; verify the programme for your dates.
Ski season
Choose the village and equipment requirements before the aircraft. Ski bags and winter luggage take space, and the onward vehicle must accommodate them as well. Confirm resort operations for your dates.
Summer mountains
Plan around walking routes and the group’s ability rather than reusing a winter itinerary. Mountain weather can change the day, so leave an alternative to a long exposed outing.
Between seasons
Transport links and activities can follow seasonal timetables. Confirm the services you need before selecting a flight, particularly if a lift or a specific connection is essential to the visit.
CONNECT YOUR JOURNEY
Plan the journey in both directions
Indicative jet flight between the reference airports. Transfers are additional; see the route for the airport pair and arrival options.
AIRCRAFT TO CONSIDER
Choose the space you need
Compare passenger seats, luggage and cabin space. The operator confirms the aircraft’s suitability for the airports and the particular flight.
These jets are options for Geneva, followed by a transfer to Courchevel. They are not intended for the altiport.
Before your visit
Can a normal private jet land at Courchevel Altiport?⌄
Do not plan the trip on that assumption. The altiport has specialist requirements. A jet flight to a suitable gateway, followed by road or an individually assessed helicopter transfer, is a separate itinerary.
Which airport should I choose?⌄
Courchevel’s high-altitude altiport lies beside the resort. Its short, steeply sloping runway is a specialist facility for suitable light aircraft, alongside helicopter access. It is not a conventional destination for a business jet.
How long is the airport transfer?⌄
The indicative road journey from the airport shown on this map to the city centre is 5-15 minutes. The exact terminal, address and traffic affect the journey. Select a point on the map to compare the available local destinations.
What should I send with a charter request?⌄
Send your dates, departure point, passenger count and final address. Mention large bags or sports equipment and any fixed appointment. We can then compare the flight and onward journey together.
