Sarajevo and Mostar offer different settings for a visit. Treat them as separate stages when combining the capital with Herzegovina, leaving time to explore rather than fitting both into a hurried transfer.

Is Mostar's Old Bridge the original historic structure?
The historic bridge was destroyed during the war and subsequently reconstructed. The restored bridge and old-town area are recognised by UNESCO for their cultural and symbolic importance.
How should I choose an arrival airport for Bosnia and Herzegovina?
Start with your final address, rather than the country name alone. Sarajevo is one of the places shown here, but a suitable arrival airport depends on the route, aircraft, operating conditions and onward transfer. Compare the flight and the onward journey together.
