The NG arrived in 2008 with a PT6A-67P engine and Honeywell Apex flight deck. The cabin retained the PC-12 layout while performance at altitude improved.
PC-12
The original PC-12 combines a roomy pressurised cabin with a large cargo door. It is useful for regional journeys with luggage that can be awkward to load into a small jet.

A single-engine turboprop with a large cargo door, flexible seating and access to airports that may not suit a larger jet.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
The original PC-12 established a single-engine turboprop with a substantial cabin and cargo door. The NG modernised the powerplant and cockpit while preserving those practical features. Later improvements within the NG generation refined speed and propeller design before the NGX brought another engine and cabin update.
The NG arrived in 2008 with a PT6A-67P engine and Honeywell Apex flight deck. The cabin retained the PC-12 layout while performance at altitude improved.
The 2016 update added a five-blade propeller and aerodynamic refinements, increasing maximum cruise speed to 285 knots. These figures refer to that later NG, not the subsequent NGX.

Can I stand upright in the cabin?
The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.47 m.
