Global 5000
The Global 5000 puts several seating areas and a full galley into a shorter Global fuselage. It offers the space of a large business jet without the cabin length of the 6000.

Why consider this model?
How much space?

People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the aircraft in your quote.
Room for your luggage
5.52 m³ of baggage space.
* Approximate planning range, not a baggage allowance. Suitcase size, compartment access, weight and flight load affect what fits. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.
Aircraft specifications
Cabin dimensions describe the finished interior, excluding baggage. Maximum range uses a light passenger load; wind, reserves and payload affect the actual route.
The model and its relatives
Global 5000
Bombardier shortened the Global Express to create the 5000, which entered service in 2005. It retained the broad cabin and long-range wing while reducing fuselage length.
Global 5500
The Global 5500 adds range and newer cabin equipment to the shorter Global layout. It suits long journeys where separate areas for dining, conversation and rest are useful.
Global 6000
The Global 6000 offers a long cabin with distinct living areas and an aft baggage compartment. Its layout gives a group room to work and rest on an intercontinental flight.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
The Global Express had been developed around maximum long-distance capability. The 5000 offered a shorter version of that broad-cabin aircraft for customers who did not need the same combination of cabin length and range. It kept the family’s cross-section, so the main spatial change was along the cabin, rather than across it.
Bombardier shortened the Global Express to create the 5000, which entered service in 2005. It retained the broad cabin and long-range wing while reducing fuselage length.
Later aircraft gained more range and the Vision flight deck. The figures here describe the increased-weight version; an early aircraft may have different limits. The 5500 subsequently introduced newer engines and cabin equipment.
Before you choose
Can I stand upright in the cabin?
A person 180 cm tall can stand at the highest part of the cabin. Space narrows towards the sides. Maximum cabin height: 1.88 m.
Will my aircraft have this exact interior?
Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
