The Legacy 450 entered service in 2015 as the shorter companion to the Legacy 500. Both shared a new cabin cross-section and digital flight controls.
Praetor 500
The Praetor 500 combines a flat-floor cabin with range beyond many midsize jets. Its seven-seat standard layout leaves room to move without needing a much larger aircraft.
Legacy 500
The Legacy 500 adds cabin length to the flat-floor Legacy design. Two seating groups and a proper galley make it useful for longer journeys with eight or nine passengers.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
The 450 and 500 introduced a new Embraer business-jet platform rather than adapting another regional airliner. A flat floor and standing-height cabin were central to the design. The 450 used the shorter fuselage, giving passengers the same cabin width in a smaller aircraft.
The Legacy 450 entered service in 2015 as the shorter companion to the Legacy 500. Both shared a new cabin cross-section and digital flight controls.
An increased-range version followed in 2016; those are the figures shown here. The Praetor 500 later developed the same platform with additional range and cabin equipment.

A person 180 cm tall can stand at the highest part of the cabin. Space narrows towards the sides. Maximum cabin height: 1.83 m.
