* Indicative estimate based on published baggage volume, for medium suitcases around 65 × 45 × 25 cm. Compartment shape, door openings, baggage weight and flight load can reduce the number. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.

Citation X

The Citation X entered service in 1996 with a sharply swept wing and Rolls-Royce engines. It was designed to cut journey times on longer business routes.

Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved

The X marked a deliberate change from the priorities of early Citations. Rather than maximise cabin width, Cessna developed a fast aircraft around a strongly swept wing and powerful engines. Its name is pronounced “ten”; the later X+ developed this same speed-focused line, while the Excel/XLS followed a different design brief.

Later aircraft gained engine and weight improvements. The X+ is a separate stretched development; its larger cabin and performance should not be used for an original X.

Before you choose

Can I stand upright in the cabin?

The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.73 m.

Will my aircraft have this exact interior?

Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
