The first Sovereign established a long-cabin Citation with a large baggage compartment. For the Plus, Cessna concentrated on improving that aircraft’s range and equipment. The most visible external change was the winglets at the wingtips. Inside, the familiar space remained, so the update extended the original concept rather than creating another cabin-size category.

The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.73 m.
