Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved

The Bell 407 entered service in 1996. It developed the light single-engine helicopter concept into a wider cabin with a four-blade main rotor.

The GX and GXP brought updated cockpit equipment and engine improvements. The GXi arrived in 2018 with another cockpit update and an electronically controlled Rolls-Royce engine.

For passengers, the important differences are the actual seating, sound insulation and baggage allowance. A utility interior and a private-transfer interior can look very different within the same family.

Before you choose

Can I stand upright in the cabin?

The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.20 m.

Will my helicopter have this exact interior?

Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.

When should I consider this model?

Bell 407 suits short transfers where an approved landing site can shorten the ground journey. Landing permission, weather, passenger weight and baggage must be checked for each flight.
