The Grand addressed a limitation of the earlier A109s: a compact cabin suited speed well, but left less space for passengers. Agusta lengthened the passenger area while keeping the family’s streamlined shape and retractable landing gear. The result was a roomier executive helicopter within the same light-twin tradition, rather than a change to a much larger transport type.

Can I stand upright in the cabin?
The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. For comparison, the scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.28 m.
