AIRPORT OVERVIEW

La Môle is a small airport inland from Saint-Tropez. Its location can shorten the road journey compared with a Riviera gateway farther east, but the short runway and surrounding terrain restrict the aircraft and operations that can be considered.

Is this the right airport for your trip?

This is not an interchangeable substitute for Nice. Aircraft suitability and crew qualification must be confirmed; Nice or Toulon may provide a more practical gateway.

Runway length is a useful reference, not a guarantee that every aircraft can operate here. The operator checks performance, load and the conditions for the actual flight.

LOCATION & PURPOSE

Where this airport works well

La Môle is a local airport for the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, set inland rather than beside the harbour. Its attraction is proximity to this part of the coast. That advantage comes with a different operating environment from Nice: the runway is short and the surrounding terrain matters. It should be considered as a particular arrival option, not as an interchangeable substitute for a large international airport.

PRIVATE FLIGHT ARRIVAL

Terminal and meeting point

The carrier must confirm that the aircraft, crew and planned load are suitable for this airfield. Do not select a larger cabin first and assume the airport can accommodate it. If the proposed operation does not fit, compare an arrival at Nice or another suitable airport and the complete onward transfer. The useful question is which combination gets the group to its destination with the right luggage and a workable itinerary.

AFTER LANDING

Plan the rest of your journey

The harbour in Saint-Tropez, Ramatuelle and a beach or villa address can require different road journeys from La Môle. In busy periods, leave room in the schedule for the last part of the drive. A helicopter transfer may be an alternative only when the destination landing arrangements and weather permit. For a return flight, agree the collection address separately, especially if the stay moves between several places on the peninsula.

Before you arrive

Where should my driver meet me?⌄

Use the handling address and meeting instructions in your flight confirmation. A private flight may be served away from the main airline terminal.

What about passport and customs formalities?⌄

The arrangements depend on the flight’s origin, destination and passenger documents. Confirm these with the operating carrier before departure.

Can I return through a different airport?⌄

Yes, subject to the itinerary and operating arrangements. Share both addresses and dates so the complete trip can be compared.
