Nice Côte d’Azur Airport

AIRPORT OVERVIEW
Nice is a substantial international airport beside the coast, close to central Nice and serving the wider Riviera. Business aviation has dedicated facilities. It is also an option for Monaco, Cannes and Saint-Tropez when aircraft suitability or onward travel makes it preferable.
Is this the right airport for your trip?
Major Riviera events and summer demand can affect arrangements. A helicopter connection needs its own weather, landing-site and baggage checks.
Runway length is a useful reference, not a guarantee that every aircraft can operate here. The operator checks performance, load and the conditions for the actual flight.
LOCATION & PURPOSE
Where this airport works well
Nice Côte d'Azur is a large international airport with a dedicated Business Aviation Terminal. Its coastal location makes it relevant both to Nice and to trips continuing along the Riviera. A central Nice address, Monaco and Cannes lie in different directions, so the nearest airport on a map is not the only consideration. Aircraft suitability and the final transfer both belong in the comparison.
PRIVATE FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Terminal and meeting point
The business aviation and helicopter facilities are distinct parts of the airport. For a private flight, use the handling entrance in the confirmation rather than the airline terminal number. A helicopter connection can be considered for an onward destination such as Monaco, but it is a separate service with its own passenger, baggage and weather requirements. An aircraft arrival does not by itself confirm that onward connection.

AIRPORT & ONWARD TRAVEL
Nice
Indicative road journeys. The terminal, final address and traffic affect the time. Dotted ends link the road to the marked place; this overview is not a navigation map.
AFTER LANDING
Plan the rest of your journey
For Cannes or Saint-Tropez, compare Nice with the more local airports when the aircraft and operating conditions allow. Nice can remain useful when a larger aircraft is needed or a direct onward transfer is preferable. In a trip combining business appointments and a coastal stay, share the order of visits as well as the dates. The map's city transfer is a reference for Nice; it should not be read as a Riviera-wide transfer time.
Before you arrive
Where should my driver meet me?⌄
Use the handling address and meeting instructions in your flight confirmation. A private flight may be served away from the main airline terminal.
What about passport and customs formalities?⌄
The arrangements depend on the flight’s origin, destination and passenger documents. Confirm these with the operating carrier before departure.
Can I return through a different airport?⌄
Yes, subject to the itinerary and operating arrangements. Share both addresses and dates so the complete trip can be compared.
