YOUR VISIT, AT A GLANCE
A gateway to Geneva
and the Alps
Geneva Airport serves the city’s business and international districts, lakeside stays and onward journeys into the Swiss and French Alps. Private aviation uses Terminal 3, separate from the main airline terminal.
Its long main runway supports a broad range of aircraft, from turboprops and light jets to large business jets. The operating carrier checks the particular aircraft against the route, load, weather and airport requirements.

SWISS & FRENCH ACCESS
Agree the meeting point before you travel
Geneva Airport has a French sector as well as access on the Swiss side. The French sector has its own access rules and is not interchangeable with the business aviation meeting point at T3.
Tell us if you are continuing to France. Your operator and handling team confirm the border formalities and where your driver should meet you for the particular flight.

Your onward journey
By private car
For central Geneva, allow roughly 20-30 minutes from T3 as a planning estimate. Your address, traffic and arrival formalities determine the actual journey.
By helicopter
A helicopter transfer can be assessed for an Alpine destination. The landing site, weather, passenger load and luggage must be checked. Keep a road option for a weather-sensitive connection.

Questions about
Geneva Airport
Which terminal do private flights use?⌄
Terminal 3 serves business aviation at Geneva Airport. Use the reception and meeting instructions supplied for your flight, rather than the address of the main airline terminal.
What aircraft can use Geneva Airport?⌄
Geneva accommodates a broad range of business aircraft. Its main runway is 3,900 m / 12,795 ft long; the operating carrier confirms suitability for the aircraft, load and conditions of your flight.
Can I leave on the French side?⌄
French-side access depends on your flight and the applicable procedures. Confirm the exit and driver meeting point with your operator and handling team before arrival; the French sector is not a substitute for the T3 meeting instructions.
Do private flights still involve border formalities?⌄
Yes. Travelling privately does not remove applicable passport or customs requirements. The documents and formalities depend on your itinerary and passengers; these are checked when the flight is arranged.
Can a helicopter take me to my resort?⌄
A helicopter connection may be possible where the landing site and operating conditions allow it. Share the resort, passenger count and luggage details so the complete transfer can be assessed.
Where can I find the current arrangements for my flight?⌄
Your flight confirmation gives the agreed terminal and arrival instructions. Timing, permissions and handling are checked for your specific itinerary.
