Falcon 2000

First flown in 1993, the Falcon 2000 brought the broad Falcon cabin to a twin-engine aircraft. Customer deliveries began in 1995.

Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved

Dassault had already developed the broad, three-engine Falcon 900. The 2000 offered a shorter wide-cabin alternative with two engines, aimed at journeys that did not require the same airframe. It became a long-lived platform: later suffixes changed engines, fuel capacity and wing details around that original passenger-space concept.

Later EX aircraft gained different engines and more fuel capacity. The original 2000 shares the broad cabin concept, but its range should not be taken from the later EX, LX or LXS.
