Challenger 850
A long, wide cabin is the Challenger 850’s main attraction. It offers space for larger groups and separate seating areas, with less range than the biggest long-range business jets.

Why consider this model?
How much space?

People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the aircraft in your quote.
Room for your luggage
5.52 m³ of baggage space.
* Approximate planning range, not a baggage allowance. Suitcase size, compartment access, weight and flight load affect what fits. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.
Aircraft specifications
Planning figure; passenger load, wind, reserves and airfield conditions affect the route.
The model and its relatives
Challenger 850
The Challenger 850 grew out of the CRJ200 regional airliner. Introduced in 2006, it used that aircraft’s roomy fuselage for a business-jet interior.
Challenger 650
The Challenger 650 offers a broad cabin, a full galley and room for longer flights. It retains the proven Challenger layout with a newer interior and cabin controls.
Global 6000
The Global 6000 offers a long cabin with distinct living areas and an aft baggage compartment. Its layout gives a group room to work and rest on an intercontinental flight.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
The 850’s story runs through regional aviation: the CRJ airliner itself grew from the Challenger concept. Converting that longer airframe back to executive use produced a business jet with unusually generous cabin length. Its origins explain why several distinct seating areas fit inside, even though its range is not comparable to the largest Global models.

This origin explains its proportions: a much longer cabin than the smaller Challengers, with room for several seating groups. Different completions can use the available space very differently.
Before you choose
Can I stand upright in the cabin?
A person 180 cm tall can stand at the highest part of the cabin. Space narrows towards the sides. Maximum cabin height: 1.85 m.
Will my aircraft have this exact interior?
Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
