Why consider this model?
How much space?

People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the aircraft in your quote.
Room for your luggage
1.73 m³ of baggage space.
* Indicative estimate based on published baggage volume, for medium suitcases around 65 × 45 × 25 cm. Compartment shape, door openings, baggage weight and flight load can reduce the number. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.
Aircraft specifications
Takeoff weight shown is for later production aircraft. Earlier examples can have lower limits; range also depends on passenger load and reserves.
Citation III, VI and VII
These are three versions of the Cessna 650 family. Excel/XL, XLS, XLS+ and XLS Gen2 belong to the separate 560XL family. Similar names do not mean identical cabins or performance.
Citation III
Original model of the 650 family. Deliveries began in 1983.
650 Citation VI
A development of the III with simpler equipment and standardised interior choices.
Citation VII
A development of the III with more powerful engines and improved cabin sound insulation.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
Cessna’s early Citations favoured straightforward handling and relatively straight wings. The Citation III took the brand in a faster direction, with a swept wing and a new midsize design. Its development created the Model 650 family. The VI and VII later offered different equipment and performance choices on that platform, rather than belonging to the Excel/XLS line.
Deliveries began in 1983. The Citation III introduced a different, faster branch of the family; the later VI and VII developed that platform.
Before you choose
Can I stand upright in the cabin?
The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.73 m.
Will my aircraft have this exact interior?
Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
When should I consider this model?
