Citation II/SP
The Citation II/SP provides a longer small-jet cabin for regional group trips. It combines the Citation II seating space with single-pilot capability; the actual crew depends on the operation. Passenger and fuel loading need particular attention because its weight limits differ.

Why consider this model?
How much space?

People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the aircraft in your quote.
Room for your luggage
2.09 m³ of baggage space.
* Indicative estimate based on published baggage volume, for medium suitcases around 65 × 45 × 25 cm. Compartment shape, door openings, baggage weight and flight load can reduce the number. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.

The model and its relatives
Citation II/SP
The Model 551 II/SP was developed alongside the Model 550 Citation II. The passenger space is similar, but operating limits differ, so the two versions should not share one weight specification.
Citation Bravo
The Bravo provides a seven- or eight-seat light-jet cabin with separate baggage storage. It is a useful regional option when cabin practicality matters more than outright speed.
Citation Ultra
The Ultra combines a relatively long light-jet cabin with good cruise speed. Its narrow aisle and low ceiling remain those of a compact jet, despite the extra seating length.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
Cessna offered the longer Citation II in two closely related versions. The II/SP allowed single-pilot operation under the applicable conditions, extending a concept already used on the smaller I/SP. The difference was therefore primarily how the aircraft was operated. It did not create an extra row of seats or a wider passenger cabin.

Before you choose
Can I stand upright in the cabin?
The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.45 m.
Will my aircraft have this exact interior?
Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
When should I consider this model?
The II/SP offers the long Citation II cabin in a version designed for single-pilot operation. Its lower permitted takeoff weight makes payload and fuel planning particularly important.
