650 Citation VI
The Citation VI is a midsize jet for regional journeys with a small group. It offers the swept-wing Citation III platform and a cabin wider than the smallest Citations. Its older interiors vary, so the actual seating and refurbishment deserve attention.

Why consider this model?
How much space?

People and cabin dimensions share one scale. The cabin outline is illustrative. The layout is an example, not the seat map of the aircraft in your quote.
Room for your luggage
1.73 m³ of baggage space.
* Indicative estimate based on published baggage volume, for medium suitcases around 65 × 45 × 25 cm. Compartment shape, door openings, baggage weight and flight load can reduce the number. We confirm your luggage for the aircraft offered.
Skis, golf bags or extra luggage?
Include the number and dimensions of bulky items in your request. Long items need a separate check.
Aircraft specifications
Planning figure; passenger load, wind, reserves and airfield conditions affect the route.
Citation III, VI and VII
These are three versions of the Cessna 650 family. Excel/XL, XLS, XLS+ and XLS Gen2 belong to the separate 560XL family. Similar names do not mean identical cabins or performance.
Citation III
Original model of the 650 family. Deliveries began in 1983.
650 Citation VI
A development of the III with simpler equipment and standardised interior choices.
Citation VII
A development of the III with more powerful engines and improved cabin sound insulation.
Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved
The Citation III had brought Cessna into the swept-wing midsize segment. When its successors were developed, the company took two paths: the VI offered a more standardised aircraft, while the VII received further performance improvements. This explains their similar appearance. The Roman numeral identifies a version of the Model 650 family, not its position among every Citation model.
Introduced in 1991, the VI simplified equipment and interior choices compared with the Citation III. It was a short-lived alternative alongside the more extensively upgraded Citation VII.
Before you choose
Can I stand upright in the cabin?
The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.73 m.
Will my aircraft have this exact interior?
Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
When should I consider this model?
The Citation VI offers the Citation III cabin in a more standardised production version. The condition and refurbishment of the particular aircraft are central to a charter choice.
