429

First delivered in 2009, the 429 answered demand for more cabin space than the 427. Executive interiors use that space for fewer, more widely spaced passenger seats.

Model historyWhere it began and how it evolved

Bell developed the 429 after the 427, putting greater emphasis on a spacious, easily accessible cabin. That space served both medical operators and private passengers, although their interiors were very different. The executive versions reduced seating density rather than changing the basic airframe. This explains the model’s combination of a practical transport background and a relatively generous private-transfer cabin.

Before you choose

Can I stand upright in the cabin?

The cabin is lower than 180 cm, so a person of that height cannot stand fully upright. The scaled illustration shows the difference. Maximum cabin height: 1.24 m.

Will my helicopter have this exact interior?

Not necessarily. These photographs and the layout illustrate the model. We check the actual interior, seats and equipment when preparing your proposal.
